The data was obtained through a significant leak. Over 90 gameplay videos for GTA 6, which is presently undergoing development, were leaked online by a hacker calling by the online alias "teapotuberhacker."
The 'Female Protagonist' in a Vice City environment is confirmed in the leaked films, as had been previously rumored.
The leaked gameplay clips also show better GFX, NPCs that are more engaging than in GTA 5, or other features.
The fact that Rockstar Games' corporate business began pursuing copyright claims against individuals who shared the leaked footage provides additional evidence of the veracity of the leaked films.
On the other side, the hacker allegedly declared to have the GTA 5 and GTA 6 source codes and refused to provide GTA 5's source code for much less than $5,000.
The Hacker claimed to be responsible for the recent Uber hack too though, although he has not offered any evidence to support this assertion.
GTA 5 has sold more than 170 million copies worldwide, making it one of the most popular video games ever.
